IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Support for Lemongrass Farms

The Walnut Creek Farmers' Market is rallying to support Lemongrass Farms after two of its members were critically injured in a tragic accident. On Sunday, June 2nd, the family members were struck by a vehicle on Locust Street. The driver has been arrested and charged with DUI and other offenses.

The injured individuals are currently receiving treatment in the intensive care unit at a local hospital. Their family, unable to return to their farm in Fresno, is staying nearby to provide support during this challenging time.

A fundraiser has been established to assist the victims and their family with mounting expenses. Medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and lost income are just some of the challenges they face. The community's support is vital as they navigate through this difficult period.

Your contribution can make a significant difference for this small family farm as they deal with this tragedy. Thank you for any support you can offer. GoFundMe (link)
