BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT
The Little Pear
Nestled in the heart of Walnut Creek at 1699 North California Boulevard, The Little Pear offers a charming and intimate dining experience. This local gem is the brainchild of renowned chef Rodney Worth, known for his culinary ventures such as The Peasant & The Pear in Danville. The Little Pear has quickly become a favorite in the community, combining a warm ambiance with an eclectic menu that caters to a wide range of tastes.
During a recent visit, the restaurant's inviting atmosphere immediately stood out, providing a cozy setting perfect for a memorable meal. For the main course, the Steak Frites offered a delightful balance of flavors with perfectly cooked steak accompanied by crispy, golden fries. Meanwhile, the Julia Child's Beef Bourguignon was a hearty and comforting dish, showcasing tender beef in a rich, flavorful sauceāan homage to classic French cuisine.
The menu at The Little Pear is thoughtfully curated, featuring a variety of dishes that highlight seasonal ingredients and innovative pairings. Popular items include the Smoked Chicken Salad Sandwich, the savory French Onion Soup, and unique creations like the Pear Quesadilla and San Ramon Flatbread, which incorporate the restaurant's signature ingredient: pears.
Whether you're stopping by for a casual lunch, a special dinner, or a weekend brunch, The Little Pear promises a delightful culinary journey. With its convenient location near the BART station, itās an accessible spot for both locals and visitors looking to enjoy a quality meal in Walnut Creek.
