Walnut Creek Residents Invited to Participate in City Council and Parking Authority Meeting
The Walnut Creek City Council, along with the Parking Authority, is set to hold back-to-back meetings on May 7, 2024, at the City Hall Council Chamber located at 1666 N. Main Street. The agenda is structured to begin with a special closed session meeting at 3:30 pm, followed by regular meetings at 6:00 pm.
The special meeting will commence with a segment dedicated to public communication, specifically addressing the closed session topics. This includes a conference with labor negotiators regarding various city employee organizations and a session on anticipated litigation. The regular meetings later in the evening will cover a broad range of topics from national recognitions such as Police Week and Jewish American Heritage Month to local concerns like the 50th anniversary of Walnut Creek Open Space. Additionally, discussions will be held on significant city developments such as the adoption of new military equipment policies and the evaluation of a pilot program that integrates youth seats into city commissions.
